It's normal for your cowhide rug to pick up dirt and dust over time. To clean it, vacuum the rug regularly or shake it vigorously outdoors to remove loose dirt. If you spill liquid on the rug, blot the stain with a dry cloth or paper towel. If the stain persists, use a small amount of mild soap (preferably shampoo) and water. For odors, sprinkle deodorant powder on the rug and vacuum it after some time.

To remove creases from cowhide rugs, lay the rug flat, and the creases should naturally decrease. If that doesn't work, try rolling the rug in the opposite direction and keeping it rolled for a few days.
